Gabby Killick’s hilarious new show, Game of Thongs, is poised to take the Edinburgh Fringe Festival by storm as the award-winning comedienne takes a side-splitting romp through the modern-day jungle of sex, drugs and cancel culture.
Game of Thongs is the show that puts the joke in woke with Gabby speaking what others dare not say. It includes her viral pandemic anthems Masturbation in Isolation and Pose and tells the social media generation the truth they don’t want to know, at least not from one of their own.
Performing at the Wee Coo in the world-famous Underbelly George Square tent, the hour-long show runs from 3rd to 29th August* at 7:20pm and comes with a cast of extraordinary characters from ‘The Apps’ to ‘Shocking Diseases’ and every minute is mesmeric.
Before Lockdown, Gabby’s last show, “Girlfriend From Hell,’’ was rated a top ten hit at the Fringe and listed in the top three by the Funny Women organisation. The Edinburgh Evening News described Gabby as “one of the most authentic voices of her generation” and her shows have played to full houses in venues as far apart as London, Boston, Barcelona, Hamburg and Vienna.
Gabby is a versatile actress and has taken a number of leadroles in independent films and plays. The most recent, “No Fruit At The Bottom”, won awards at multiple festivals, including the Prague International Film Festival, The Lift Off Session and the World Film Carnival in Singapore.
Gabby also won Birmingham’s Best Newcomer at the Birmingham Fringe for her comedic performance in ‘’The Morning After’’ and received rave reviews for her role atStratford Upon Avon. Her shows have featured in both Time Out and GQ Magazine as one of the 10 Coolest Things To Do In London.
